Most boat captains agree that Harbor Docks and Dewey Destin serve the freshest fish in Destin, and if a boat captain eats there, it's gotta be! Fish sandwiches, dinners and Sushi. Now THIS is Destin! Calhoun location is on Choctawhatchee Bay (pronounced Choctaw-Hatchee like a Choctaw Indian holding a hatchet) all outdoors with picnic tables, seagulls, and dolphins. Serve yourself, clear your table, plastic baskets and utensils and porta-potties. Dewey has added a broader assortment of menu recently and prices have gone up, but great food and fun place to remember how Destin used to be!
Harbor location next to AJ's, nestled beautifully among the oaks in an old house, can eat inside in air conditioning, or outdoors. Tablecloths, real silverware, so prices are about $4 per platter higher than Dewey's bay location. Our favorites broiled (not steamed) Grouper Parmesan, Stuffed Shrimp and Fisherman's platter.
